Academics

Academics are an important part of every Zeta's life.

Our on-campus advisor, Tressa Snyder, works in the library and is always available to help with research projects. On Sunday nights, members are hitting the books at study tables and many sisters create their own study groups for classes.

As part of the chapter's Academic Achievement Plan, members are rewarded for good grades and helped through tough times. Some of our academic recognition programs include Smarty Pants awards, which are given to members that excel or earn an outstanding grade on a test or project, and a money tree, where sisters who have improved or earned a spot of the Dean's List get a chance to earn a cash reward. After recruitment, new members will also be matched up with a sister in her same major so she can seek advice from a familiar, friendly face.
